Quick answer

What can Senegal residential proxies help me measure?

AfricaProxies provides Senegal residential proxies for local research and testing your own application. As of 15 October 2026, 1 GB costs $1.23. Review Auchan’s public Senegal offers in CFA francs, retain Dakar Drive collection settings and test French or Wolof locale choices in your application. Pay from a prepaid crypto balance, with no KYC.

Use Dakar delivery areas as the unit of comparison

Auchan Senegal’s FAQ ties delivery charges to the selected area and distinguishes ordinary delivery from Drive collection. The page checked on 15 October 2026 places Point E and Mermoz in one band, Pikine in another, and Rufisque or Diamniadio in a further band. It separately says regional delivery is not offered. Recheck these merchant conditions before relying on them.

A useful research question is therefore narrower than “What is the price in Senegal?” Decide whether you are comparing a shelf price, a matched basket or a delivered basket for a particular destination. Do not make real orders merely to populate a research sheet; use a merchant-approved method or your own application's authorised test environment.

A bounded Senegal basket study

  1. Define one matched basket

Fix brand, pack size, quantity and any permitted substitute. A larger package must not enter the comparison as though its headline price were the same unit.

  2. Separate item and fulfilment amounts

Store the displayed product amount and separately visible delivery charges in different fields. Mark a missing charge as unknown rather than silently assigning zero.

  3. Declare the delivery area

Keep the exact area selected in the interface and the fulfilment option. A network route labelled Senegal cannot stand in for that merchant setting.

  4. Keep the observation reproducible

Record the time, observed country, browser language, cookie state and any promotion condition. Make a single permitted sample before considering a recurring study.

Home Fibre and a fibre deployment target are different evidence

Orange Senegal’s Home Fibre page describes a residential fixed-broadband product and directs users to an eligibility process based on the installation location. That establishes a real local access service, without proving an Orange residential exit in this proxy pool. A country setting or an ASN selector does not reserve every network named in a market guide.

Sonatel’s release on its first-half 2026 results describes a group operating in five countries. Its aggregate subscriber figures must not be relabelled as Senegal-only totals. The same release states a goal for connecting Senegalese homes by December 2026; a target is not a completed installation count. Keep these distinctions when documenting the fixed-network context of a local application study.

Separate the three places in a Senegal test

PlaceEvidence requiredWhat it does not establish
Requested network placeSN country setting; a city requirement only when neededThe merchant's selected delivery destination
Observed exit placeThe same returned address checked in the chosen geolocation sourcesA physical household or a permanent address allocation
Commercial destinationThe delivery area and method visibly selected for the authorised observationThat every user in the country sees the same basket

Do not merge Senegal's CFA amounts with Cameroon by label alone

BCEAO identifies Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire within its West African monetary area and distinguishes it from the Central African monetary area issued by BEAC. A multi-country dataset should retain the currency's full identity beside the amount instead of using an unqualified “CFA” column for every market. Record any conversion rule and its date separately from the original observation.

For a Senegalese application you own, create a fixed basket fixture and verify that the expected monetary label survives the language and device variations you support. Keep a display-format defect separate from a difference in merchandise, shipping or promotion. That makes the result useful to an engineering or pricing team without pretending an IP change alone controls the customer experience.

Apply the CDP's data distinction to the study design

Senegal’s Commission de Protection des Données Personnelles maintains a regulatory library identifying Law 2008-12 of 25 January 2008 and its implementing decree. Its published obligations describe confidentiality and security responsibilities for personal-data processing. Those references concern the handling of information, not a general endorsement of a scraping workflow.

For a retail observation, avoid adding delivery customers, telephone numbers or account histories to the basket record. For your own app, use synthetic users approved by its owner. Review the actual purpose, target conditions and applicable personal-data duties before retaining information. Consult the country-rules evidence separately for unresolved payment questions; this guide does not approve a resident's proposed crypto transaction.

Choose a session for the declared question

A short sequence in your own basket application may need a sticky route; independent permitted observations may use rotating connections. Sticky sessions keep the same IP for the time you set (ttl, in minutes), up to 30 minutes. The IP can change earlier, for example if the residential device goes offline. Keep the application cookie session separate from that proxy setting, and mark an interrupted run before restarting it.

The 1 GB plan is $1.23 and a 10 GB plan is $5.94 as of 15 October 2026. The minimum top-up is $25, a separate funding requirement. Estimate a Dakar study from one measured, permitted sample rather than assuming that the amount of visible product text equals billable traffic.

Senegal residential proxy questions

Can a Senegal IP prove that a retailer delivers nationwide?

No. Delivery coverage comes from the merchant's conditions and the destination selected in its interface. A national route supplies a network viewpoint. Keep an unavailable delivery option as a separate result, and do not present a Dakar observation as evidence that the same offer can be delivered throughout Senegal.

Is Orange Home Fibre a guaranteed proxy network?

No. Orange's consumer page establishes a real Senegalese fixed-broadband service. It does not identify the operator behind every AfricaProxies exit. If network identity matters to the authorised project, record the returned organisation and ASN and confirm availability instead of using a market reference as a stock promise.

Does your service accept a retailer's local payment options?

A Senegal retail payment choice is not an AfricaProxies deposit method. This service uses the supported crypto invoice routes and a minimum top-up of $25. Verify the buyer's transaction eligibility and invoice network separately. For payment-interface QA, use your own approved sandbox rather than a live payment portal through the proxy.
