Africa proxy privacy policy

What data supports accounts, payments, billing enquiries and abuse handling for African proxy projects.

Last updated: · 5 min read

Quick answer

What does the Africa proxy privacy policy cover?

This privacy policy covers AfricaProxies account, payment and connection records used for African business proxy access. Residential traffic starts at $0.50/GB as of 15 October 2026, with no KYC and crypto payment. No KYC does not remove records: account and billing information is retained, while limited connection metadata supports abuse handling and billing disputes.

What account and support information is processed?

Account records identify the account number, orders, credited top-ups, balances and traffic totals needed to operate the service. An email address is optional. If you provide one, it supports account communication and the recovery route described in the account policy.

Support correspondence contains what you choose to send, such as an order reference, country setting or redacted error. Send only what resolves the question. An African market study does not require you to include a client list, customer database, passport or company incorporation documents in a technical support message.

What is recorded at the proxy gateway?

We do not log the content of your requests, full URLs or page data. To handle abuse reports and billing disputes, we keep connection metadata (time, account, exit IP, target hostname, bytes) for up to 30 days, then delete it. We keep your account number, orders, top-up records and traffic totals while your account is open, and afterwards only as long as accounting rules require. We disclose records to authorities only when the law requires it. Our upstream network provider may keep its own logs under its own policy.

A hostname identifies a target service, while a full URL may contain search terms, customer identifiers or private tokens. Keep that distinction in mind when preparing your own client logs. The policy above concerns service retention; a browser, script, device or target server may maintain separate records outside AfricaProxies's control.

How are crypto payment records used?

A top-up needs an amount, a payment reference and the transaction information required to reconcile the account balance. The blockchain carrying your payment is public according to its own design; no KYC does not make an on-chain transaction private.

For a missing credit, provide the coin, exact network, transaction ID, amount and approximate time. Do not send a wallet recovery phrase, private key or signing credential. AfricaProxies cannot erase a blockchain transaction by deleting an account or support message.

Who may receive information and why?

Information needed to deliver and maintain the service can be processed by the upstream network and service providers involved in that work. The upstream provider may keep its own connection logs under its own policy. Records may also be disclosed when the law requires it, as described in the retention statement.

The operator is based in the United States and African exit locations do not imply that all account or support data stays in an African country. Your organisation should review its own data handling duties before routing a project containing personal data.

How can I make a privacy request safely?

Write to [email protected] with the nature of the request and the account communication channel you normally use. Support may need evidence of your authority before disclosing or changing account information; do not include your account login in an unsolicited email.

Deletion cannot remove records required for accounting, an unresolved billing dispute or a legal obligation. Connection retention and account retention serve different purposes and follow the limits stated above. If your request concerns your own data collection from a target, contact that target or the controller of the project as appropriate.

Africa proxy privacy: questions

Are identity documents collected for purchases?

No KYC: no ID, no selfie, no documents to sign up, top up or buy. Do not attach identity documents to routine support or abuse reports. The policy concerns account opening, top-ups and purchases; it does not remove the account, billing and connection records explained on this page.

Is an email address compulsory?

No. Account-number login; email is optional Your account number is your login: save it somewhere safe. Add an email (optional) if you want a way to recover it. Without an email, a lost account number cannot be recovered. Add an email if you want the supported recovery route, and keep it current. Choosing no email does not remove the need to store your account number securely.

Does the gateway retain page content?

No. The gateway policy excludes request content, full URLs and page data. It retains limited connection metadata for abuse handling and billing disputes. Your own application and target can keep separate logs; redact sensitive client details before sending evidence to support.

Are crypto payments invisible to third parties?

No. Transactions can be visible on the payment network's public ledger. Crypto is the payment method, and no KYC describes the service's document policy. Neither statement promises that a transaction, account record or lawful disclosure is hidden from a relevant third party.

Is my information stored in the African exit country?

An exit IP describes the connection used for a request, not the storage location of account and support records. ProxyGoat LLC operates from the United States. The upstream network may maintain its own logs, so assess data handling independently of the selected exit location.

How do I ask for access or deletion?

Send a scoped request to [email protected] through an account communication route you control. Explain what information is concerned. Some records must remain for accounting, unresolved billing disputes or applicable legal duties, and public blockchain entries cannot be deleted by the service.
